We Now Offer The New Trainer and Assessor Qualifications

Baron Training is pleased to announce that we are now able to offer the new Trainer and Assessor Qualifications as from July 2014.

  • The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) replaces the Level 3 and 4 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Awards.
  • The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training replaces the Level 4 Certificate in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS).


Assessor Qualifications in this suite, which replace the former Level 3 Awards A1 and A2 include:

  • OCNWMR Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (QCF) - 601/2121/X
  • OCNWMR Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (QCF) 601/2119/1

Interviews with 'Suspects Under Caution'

Interviews with 'Suspects Under Caution' form a crucial part of any investigation. It is therefore essential that these interviews are both effective and lawful, which will allow them to withstand legal scrutiny in prosecution and judicial processes.

This two day training course, which is focussed towards 'Local Authorities, Public Authorities /  Agencies and other Private Companies and Organisations who seek to be PACE compliant’, is designed for your personnel, who are required to conduct interviews with 'Suspects Under Caution', in accordance with the Police and Criminal Evidence Act [PACE] 1986 and associated Code[s] of Practice.

A variety of training delivery methods are used to allow your personnel to gain both new knowledge and to clarify their existing knowledge of the key legislation and procedures required to conduct effective and lawful interviews with 'Suspects Under  Caution'.

Practical exercises are also used which allow your personnel the opportunity to demonstrate and practice their new competencies, knowledge and skills in carrying out effective and lawful interviews with 'Suspects Under Caution', in a safe learning environment, before returning to the workplace.

This training will ensure that both your organisation and your personnel are able maintain the integrity of your investigations together with the integrity of the prosecution and judicial systems.
